  • I deeply value the time, energy, and connection I share with my clients, which is why I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions. My office hours are generally Monday through Friday, with both options available each day except Thursday. Thursdays are reserved for remote work, and I offer telehealth sessions only on that day.

Because my schedule is shaped around the needs of the clients I see, I typically plan to be in the office on the days listed on my website. However, if all my sessions for a particular day are already scheduled by phone or video, I may choose to work remotely that day.

Just to clarify- I genuinely enjoy being able to meet each person’s needs and to be as flexible as I can! To make that possible, I simply ask for a little notice in advance if you’d like to switch an already scheduled session from telehealth to in-person, or from in-person to telehealth. I usually have no issue accommodating these requests! I just ask that this be communicated at least one to two days ahead of time. This helps me plan accordingly and provide the best possible experience for every client I work with ❤︎

  • Psychodynamic therapy is ideal for individuals who desire deep-rooted lifestyle changes and understand that inner healing is a process. Most of the clients on my caseload are highly motivated individuals who strive to prioritize their mental health. In fact, they are also willing to dig deep and explore the subconscious roots behind their emotional suffering.

Psychodynamic Therapy is Ideal for Individuals Who Want To:

    • Develop a deeper understanding of how the past affects the present

    • Develop a deeper understanding of how unconscious motivations affect behavior and decision-making

    • Expand their range of choices and life options

    • Develop a more secure attachment within themselves as well as in their interpersonal relationships

    • Free themselves from the past and discover new ways of living

Psychodynamic therapy is usually not recommended for those in a state of crisis or still in fight-or-flight mode, and who struggle to perform the basics of self-care. The reason being is that psychodynamic therapy does not specialize in crisis intervention or provide clients with immediate, instant-gratification coping skills that some people need when they are in the midst of a tragic life circumstance.

  • No. My passion lies within the work that I do with individuals and families. Therefore, I don’t offer couples counseling.

  • Most of the clients that I work with are over the age of 18. I will sometimes accept some teenagers to my caseload. However these teens are generally older and very mature for their age.

  • If we both decide that we are a good match after the phone consultation, I will email you a link to your client portal. There, you will find all the necessary forms to sign/review. Please ensure that all paperwork is completed prior to our first appointment together. If your paperwork is not completed, then we will have to use the scheduled session time to complete it.

Make sure you take a few minutes to relax before your first session. It’s common to feel nervous before starting something new. Some of my clients write down a tentative list of ideas that they want to talk about. However, also understand that therapy can be a planned as well as unplanned process, as we might not always be able to predict what kinds of subconscious thoughts arise as we get into conversation.

  • Cancellations and re-scheduled sessions will be subject to a full charge if not received 24 hours in advance. This is necessary because a time commitment is made for you and is held exclusively for you. This not only helps keep balance and flow in the therapist’s schedule, but also ensures that clients are held accountable for their appointments. Clients are welcome to text, email, or call me to cancel or reschedule their appointment; however, this needs to be done 24 hours in advance in order to avoid the cancellation fee.

  • Yes, I accept both. In the past I have noticed that FSA/HSA companies sometimes ask for a clinical receipt (also known as superbill) for proof that the charge was used for medical purposes. I have no problem providing you this documentation. However, I do please ask for a 2-5 business day grace period post session to email you the superbill.
